Your business

We understand that your business is important to you.

As a Small-Medium Sized Enterprise (“SME”) you need a fast, efficient and first class service at a competitive price. As experienced employment lawyers we have worked with many SME’s to achieve their goal, whether this is advice on a workplace issue or defending an Employment Tribunal claim.

Whilst you may not be a multinational corporation, this does not mean you should accept a lesser quality of service to defend any claim which has been lodged against you.  We understand that as a small business it is important for you to be able to move on as quickly as possible and concentrate your time and effort on your business.

If you are looking for a firm to defend an Employment Tribunal claim lodged against you or even provide advice in relation to grievance or dismissal procedures, we are ready and able to assist you.   We can undertake all aspects of defence work including drafting the Response form (“ET3”) to include good legal points in your favour, writing to the lawyers for the Claimant,  requesting Further and Better Particulars of the claim against you, collating useful evidence, drafting witness statements and undertaking all advocacy in the Employment Tribunal.

There are many advantages to instructing a firm such as ours to defend an Employment Tribunal claim.  We can take the stress away from you and your employees; we are able to conduct proceedings leaving your senior staff available to continue working for the business instead of spending their time defending the claim and of course we are able to provide realistic and practical advice to enable you to decide how you wish to proceed with any defence.

All of our clients have have access to the lawyer who will undertake the advocacy in an Employment Tribunal hearing: we do not bring in a third party (such as a barrister) at the last minute or hand out work to third parties. Therefore you are able to give clear and firm instructions to the very person who will be acting on your behalf at all times.  This also gives the added advantage of not being required to pay for different lawyers to read your files more than once and reduces the likelihood of mistakes being made or points being missed as a result.  You will also be dealing with the same lawyer from the start all the way through to the conclusion of your matter.

We understand that as a smaller company you have even less time and staff to spare to defend an Employment Tribunal claim, however we are very cost-efficient and we believe we are more competitively priced than other comparable lawyers.

We believe that we offer fantastic value for money and we appreciate that you do not want to spend any more than you have to in order to defend a claim lodged against you.  We can match your needs and we will set out the likely costs from the outset, even offering fixed fees if that is what you seek.

Feel free to contact us and see for yourself just how cost effective and efficient defending an Employment Tribunal Claim can be in fact: we will beat any formal quote from a comparable company.
